About the Author
From obsessing over library summer programs as a child, to interning and writing for a local newspaper in high school, to carefully choosing which books would fit in her seabag during deployments, Jordan McCaffrie’s love of books and writing has followed her throughout her life.
After serving four years and completing two deployments as an aircraft director in the U.S. Navy, Jordan’s enlistment ended, and she relocated to Seattle, Washington, with her husband. There, she attended The Art Institute of Seattle, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts Management and an Associate of Arts in Baking & Pastry. Since then, she has explored a variety of career paths, but one thing has remained constant: her passion for books and writing. Now signed with Library Tales Publishing for her debut fantasy novel, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a published author.
When she isn’t creating fantasy worlds, you can usually find her curled up with her Kindle, drinking an excessive amount of coffee (or Cabernet, depending on the time of day), developing new recipes in the kitchen, taking photographs, or collecting stamps in her passport.
Born in Los Angeles County, Jordan has lived all over the country and currently resides in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with her husband, Robert, and their golden retriever, Oakley.
